About the Project
I created a new look for the weekly food tabloid in the Chattanooga Times Free Press' portfolio. I designed a new logo and worked with type to bring the publication into the 21st century. Style sheets and master pages were created for sustainability.
I continue to create graphics for our special editions (like for craft beer and brunch) and put together this piece on a weekly basis.
Before & After
I inherited the publication at a time of transition. The aim of the publication was to focus more on cuisine than community.
Therefore, the new tone of the publication focused on food and minimal, streamlined design.
